This time I chose just two short poems (enough of torturing you all with my madness)  written by a poet who is  an absolute classic - no need to translate anything this time either. Go, read it here and tell me what you think...

Hello everybody,

 I went officially nuts. If you thought I was sane, it was very sweet of you but also you couldn't be more wrong. Now you will be shown the full extend of my madness. The lindens, it must be something connected to them. I adore linden trees.

Let me present three poems for June. Yep, you got it right, THREE. SIX short texts (the original version and the English translation) composed by of two French frogs...I mean gentlemen.  I couldn't choose which one was the best, I didn't want to omit any of them as I loved them all. INSANELY.  

Two poems are of my good friend Arthur Rimbaud, one of his good friend Paul Verlaine. I told you I am insane, right? I only hope you will bear with me.Which one is the best, in your opinion?

I would like to let you know that a new poem for May is already published. I must admit I surprised myself by choosing a rather sad poem, I don't know why but I found it appropriate for such a beautiful and dangerous season as spring, the time of life and death... You can find it here. If you know a bit of French you will notice how the English version differs from the original.

Once again I couldn't decide which poem to choose so I posted two - you can find them clicking here or going to my "Poem of the Month" page. One is written by a woman and the second one by a man to balance things nicely. Both of the authors have already featured on my blog. In fact I decided to publish two poems for March - one an old classic and one modern. You can read them here. Their topic is the same: a certain beautiful sunny spring flower you see in the pictures above and below. Enjoy and of course let me know what you think!

Another month is coming so I decided to change my poem of the month. Because it is going be the shortest month of the year, I chose a slightly longer poem - A Fairy Tale by Amy Lowell. You can find it and read it following this link
