Silent Sunday - snow in May

  1. I have had that happen to me too. It is why I don't plant tomatoes until the end of May no matter how early and warm spring is.

  2. Snow on leaves and blossoms is pretty but can be deadly if the snow is heavy as it often is in spring. Lovely photo!

  3. Very pretty - but not a good sign!

  4. Believe me or not - I was devastated by it! Not only plenty of trees lost their boughs but also some economists predicted the rise of prices this summer.

  6. Lol, I got the subtext Blodeuedd and fyi the meteorologists did say the cold air came from Scandinavia. Go figure. ;)

  7. Oh we had that here. I didn't mind it even though I was sad to see some of the blossoms gone. It gets too hot here too quick, so I don't mind a delay in that. :)

  8. Just about everything makes the prices go up.
Hopefully the snow won't stay. A day or two and things will be fine but three days and things start to die off.

  9. The snow has gone but nobody is sure whether it returns or not. The beauty of a changeable climate is that it remains unpredictable, no matter what season. Thanks for comments, everybody!
