Teaser Tuesday, 15 March

Teaser Tuesday is hosted by MizB at Should Be Reading.

Here are the rules: Grab your current read. Open to a random (or not so random) page.
Share the title & author, too, so that other Teaser Tuesday participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

This week my teaser comes from the novel "Never Let Me Go" by  Kazuo Ishiguro. My review is coming soon!

"Your lives are set out for you. You’ll become adults, then before you’re old, before you’re even middle-aged, you’ll start to donate your vital organs. That’s what each of you was created to do. You’re not like the actors you watch on your videos, you’re not even like me. You were brought into this world for a purpose, and your futures, all of them, have been decided."

  1. Well, you are perfectly right but, after all, it is a distopian novel.

  2. I haven't read anything by Ishiguro, yet. The Remains of the Day is on my TBR shelf, but this one definitely sounds like one I'd like to read - I look forward to your review, my dear.

  5. It sounds intriguing. I like books that try to say something about the human condition.

  8. @Melissa I am going to publish it this week.
@The Red Witch yes it does say plenty about human condition.
@Mad Scientist thank you - my fish are grateful!

Yes I've changed the header a bit recently. And the background when I come to think about it. I am the tinkering type - always changing and trying to improve things )with different effects ;)).

Hi Teddy Rose thanks for a visit!
