I love it. My favorite picture of Stonehenge is the one I took of my kids playing tag there. It is an awesome spot for 'hide and seek' or tag. Sometimes I wonder if that was not a factor in its design.
I love that picture myself - thanks for your comments! If I ever go to the UK again Stonehenge will be on the top of my "to visit" list for sure. It's magic but as I've heard the location is very crowded with tourists, especially in the summer.
When I went there for my birthday, a few years ago, I was surprised at how compact it is - it's so much smaller than I expected! It wasn't too crowded when I went but normally, yes, it is extremely popular.

ReplyDeleteOh definitely a good idea - visiting at dusk has also other advantages - e.g. splendid light for photos.
