LOL I like snails. Not on my hostas, mind you, but I do take pains to avoid stepping on them when they are all over the sidewalk.
Should I add that there are actually two little fellows at my place? I rescued the second one from the street yesterday.
Guess you can''t get much more silent than those two! Have you named them? Though snails are hermaphrodite, so guess you need gender neutral names.
Yes, one should be named Hermes and the other-Aphrodite; they can swap the names when they feel like to do so ;)
