  1. Paying a social visit to another spider ;). When you come too close, they run away.

  2. Beautiful.

Usually if I see a spider, I'm the one that runs away! :)

  3. Believe me, Mel, spiders are more afraid of you! Beautiful indeed!

  4. @spiders are more afraid of you

Not necessarily but a pristine spider in the morning dew is a beautiful thing.

  5. Ok, I should be more precise: every spider that sees me is more afraid than I am. ;). Mind you there are no big spiders where I live.

  6. I don't mind spiders, generally (I'm the one who rescues spiders from other people) - though the huge one that dropped onto my pillow one morning recently - let's just say it completely put me off my partner's 'wake me up' routine ;)

  7. These big monsters, like tarantulas, can freak anybody out. I've never been tempted to keep such a pet.

  10. A spider in your house can bring you luck, dear Melissa. No need to frighten your dogs with your screams.

  11. What a beautiful photo. Spiderwebs are amazing, aren't they, so delicate-looking and still strong.

  12. B, that is simply gorgeous. Seriously, I kind of just want to stare at it for awhile. It's so amazing how people can take those kind of pictures. Spider webs are so amazing. Not that I want to ever be in one. Still...
