Musical Monday, 10 October

Welcome to Musical Monday!

What songs suit your autumn mood ? What songs do you eagerly return to when there are morning fogs and chilly evenings ? Would you like to share?  Here is my pick for this Monday - Scarborough Fayre version sung by Medieval Baebes. Enjoy!

Are you going to Scarborough Fayre
Parsley Sage Rosemary and Thyme
Remember me to one who lives there
He was once a true love of mine
Have him find me an acre of land
Parsley Sage Rosemary and Thyme
Between the sea and oe'r the sand
Then he'll be a true love of mine
Love imposes impossible tasks
Parsley Sage Rosemary and Thyme
Although not more than any heart asks
And I must know he's a true love of mine
Have you been to Scarborough Fayre
Parsley Sage Rosemary and Thyme
Remember me to one who lives there
He was once a true love of mine.

  3. "All the leaves are brown, and the sky is grey. I went for a walk on a winter's day." California Dreamin leapt to mind for fall songs. I love Scarborough Fair too.

  4. That is soothing music. Makes me think of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. I love to listen to Jill Scott to get my day going, it's soothing and empowering.
