I don't know about you but I cannot imagine a proper carnival ball without a waltz. Here is one of my favourites: composed by Aram Khachaturian as a suite from M.Lermontov's drama "Masquerade".
That was beautiful. It made me want to get up and kind of jump around-waltz. I liked the up chords. I want to don a mask and go out to carnival. *le sigh*
Pretty creepy stuff in that video! How chilling.
ReplyDeleteWell, what do you want, Lisa, it is a masquerade. The waltz I find divine, though!
ReplyDeleteI like a good waltz. What elaborate costumes. I think I would be itching all day to have so much stuff on my head or face or around my neck.
ReplyDeleteI like it :) I wanna go dancing..in Vienna
ReplyDeleteThe Red Witch - you can always choose something less flashy and still have a lot of fun!
ReplyDeleteBlodeuedd - it sounds really nice, a ball in Vienna!

ReplyDeleteLove the music, but I still find the masks creepy!
ReplyDeleteJen, this music has something that makes you want to dance even if normally you are as clumsy as a log ;).
ReplyDeleteTracy when it comes to this waltz their creepiness is very appropriate - Lermontov's 'Masquerade' is about an intrigue and a murder!
Hey, look at all the masks and costumes. I love it! Great theme, and song. :)
