Anachronist - I love Botticelli's The Birth of Venus - I saw this painting at the Uffizi in 2009 on a trip to Florence with my partner - and it's amazing 'in the flesh'.
Tracy it's even amazing when only presented as a copy. Believe me or not but when I saw it for the first time as a child on a little postage stapm I fell in platonic love with it instantly. I've never fallen out of that love ever since.
Mel, Cyprus is a perfect place for a girl fascinated by the Greek and Roman mythology - have tons of fun and take pics to prove it!
